Ear Phones

Should you turn the volume up on you ear phones before setting up your detector. Then reduce the volume of the ear phones as you adjust the detector? thank you

I prefer to start with 'em low, then turn up volume 'till comfortable... Adjust a little higher if needed. Shouldn't really matter as long as you don't blow out the speakers or your eardrums. *_*

Exactly, the battery check at startup is horrible. And the Compadre with its solid tone will hurt.
