My friend found these and about 200 more while demolishing his house. He knew of my love of history so offered me some of his collection. I chose a legal document which mentions the Militia Act, an arrest warrant and an ink blotter with some fantastic doodles. I'll be getting these preserved and framed so that they stay in as good of shape as they are now. Thanks for looking!

Wow! Those are so cool! I am very jealous, I love old paper documents. I bought an 1869 railroad stock certificate last week, but it doesn't compare to the stuff you have. I also have a Civil War newspaper somewhere. You are very lucky to have such cool old documents!

The doodle page is ultra cool. I would get that framed with the right glass, put it on my wall and enjoy. The subject matter is very interesting!
