Hello All,

Got out with Shangalang today for a little hunt. Scored some nice relics, including early Military, but no Spanish Silver this time. Maybe next time. The nice civilian button I dug, along with the watch winder, and Shane dug the 1812 era Artillery. :) Video and photos below:

Nice finds BuckleBoy!

Spanish silver is just a bonus when you are able to find relics like that!

I'll take early military any day. Really nice finds!

That watch winder and artillery button is sweet. It just amazes me how they made a lot of these buttons and other things that long ago with that much detail to them.Way to go.Thanks for sharing.

Cool buttons and watch winder.

So true. Our goal is always both good relics and good coins, but sometimes it's either/or.

I've seen some highly detailed Roman artifacts and coins...

Very cool. I'm chomping at the bit to start exploring a homestead on our family land now that we're finally thawing out in NY!

That's a great looking artillery button, and the glare off that flower button will blind ya.

Awesome! Now I know what a watch winder looks like.

There are many different styles. The most common (and most plain) is 3/4 inch long and looks like two tiny loops of brass wire.

Appears to be a civil war button, I used to have one at one time. Awesome find. The watch winder is fairly neat to.

My goodness. Wish Arkansas treated buttons that well

Sweet button Buck:headbang:
