Early morning in the San Luis Valley

I like this place all the time, but early morning is my favorite time here. People have been attracted to this area for about 11,000 years now, and it's so quiet that sometimes you can almost hear the voices of those old ones still speaking.

I miss living in that valley, it is a very very peaceful place. I had lots of time to wander. Lots of petroglyphs, springs and blown out old camps. You are right about those voices. Very nice pictures that bring back memories!
