Early Pennsylvania Railroad bridge.

This bridge was built in 1848-49 by the Pennsylvania Railroad for their single line through Huntingdon County. It was abandoned is 1892 when the railroad moved the mainline to the old canal bed. Thanks for looking! DD.

Awesome pic, I love seeing the old stone built structures & bridges.

It is sad how many we are losing at such a fast pace.

This is the bridge that was built when the mainline was moved. They put a concrete face on the upper side. DD.
