Dug a 1900's house today and found this. It rang up as a high tone on my XP Deus and though for sure I had a coin. Couldnt find any thing round and the pin pointer was on crack. Finally found this tiny thing. Any Idea if this is an earring, button or what it is or maybe how old it is? It isn't magnetic, I took the best photo's I could and was dug in Shippensburg, PA. I cleaned it a bit before the photos that I took. Happy Hunting!!

Any Idea on age? I don't sell anything I just am OCD on dating anything I find. That is why Coins are my favorite haha. It wasn't shallow but that means nothing in the metal detecting world because I have found Old coins shallow and newer coins deep. I just love history so much I like to have a time period :)

I'd go with Charlie's idea for the earring.
