First off my camera doesnt do it justice old camera old comp. This so far is my best for 2020 and probably in my top 5 for color and craftsmanship of a point I have found. It was found about a month ago while walking a freshly plowed field after a good rain. First time the field had ever been turned in the last 5 years along a creek where I have found other artifacts. I dont have the dirt pic but it was laying right on top of the soil. Its called a Eastern Dalton rather new type and named recently not many examples have been found. In this part of Georgia anyway most are found in the eastern part of TN valley. Its black with a off white inclusion that runs around both sides. Ive found a few clunkers this year but nothing like this one. I went back a couple of times but now the grass is taking over. Hope you guys like it as much as I do cause I dont find many Dalton types, rock
North Georgia on private property with permission. Not letting me upload the pics

That was probably me, but the opposite of my experience. I sometimes want to crop things out of a photo. Nobody would want to see my bare feet, lol, for example. But, it has always been the case that if I crop a photo at all, the photo will not load. It has to be the exact photo, as it was taken. Not a big problem. If I must crop something out of a photo, I know it won’t load if I crop it, so I will just take another photo that I’m comfortable with, and that will not require cropping....

The reason its wet is cause after picking it up in the field I walked over to the creek and rinsed it off then took my pictures. I see you guys still have the star rating and Im guessing some didnt like the point seeing someone didnt click the stars. But thats okay I wont share anymore with you guys, take care

Hey, I think you are misreading the folks here, the little yellow star is beside your post to show you that you have a comment in that post. Any post I have ever commented in shows a little yellow star, I assume to show me I commented in that thread. No one rated your post negatively and I think Uniface was just being funny with his wet comments, don’t think there was any intended insults or anything. Keep posting. Good folks with lots of knowledge creeping around this site. Just my 2cents. That was a nice find you shared

That thing is pretty!

You need to have thicker skin than this my friend. No one has dissed you in any way at this point. However, if you continue to pursue this hobby with this attitude, you're in for a big let-down. You're not punishing anyone here and are missing out by not sharing your finds.

Curious...

It could be your photo editing software.

I generally post everything from the mobile app (on my I-Phone). But, before I open the app to start a new post, I open each photo and edit them as needed (always centering and cropping), and then save the changes.

My edited photos always upload without a problem.

I do not have access all the pc app features such as voting for a banner, but it works well for me.
