Ebay Listing Accountability Thread

Thought I'd chime in. My apartment is overflowing with inventory and though only 3 out of 45 I've currently got listed are going to sell I've been taking pictures all week after work and spent most of today making listings. I've got an additional 36 items scheduled to start tomorrow and I plan to add to that tomorrow morning. My goal is to hit my limit of 140 listings for the month and ask them to raise it.

Why are you limited to 140 listings?

Took pictures today for roughly 4 hours. A lot of listings are going to be coming up!
Are your new listings mostly lures and truck parts?

Oh, I almost forgot. I sold the blower. Got $140.00 for it. After thinking about it for awhile I decided to just take his offer as it was a great way to end the auction. Right now I'm down to fourteen active listings and I must end them all by Friday night as we are going to Florida for two weeks.

Actually, all of those I took pictures were lures yesterday. I have 2 other listings that I need to list that aren't lures. One is an old cobblers shoe mold set and the other is an antique fish skinner. :laughing7: I relisted everything I am going to I think. I've got a few more but I don't think I'm going to bother with them. I combined some of them. We'll see what happens as I list over the next few days. DieselRam, are you going to have internet in Florida? I am very glad you sold your blower! Giniro, I was also wondering why you are limited to 140 listings.

Yeah DieselRam, I wish I could find another truck, but haven't yet. What do you do with your slow stuff? I've got some random brackets and things that are being very slow. I am planning on cleaning them up and painting them to see if that will help them. Have you ever done that?

I will have internet on my phone. I don't know how I used to function without it. Lol! Yeah. I have repainted some things before and it does help. I repainted some rear spring hangers I had from s 1997 Ram 1500 and sold them both for $95.00 each free shipping. I have some bumper brackets I am going to do that to as well when I get back. I have found even slow stuff sells eventually. Just have to get the right guy to see it. For guys restoring these old trucks, used parts is the only option. And ebay is king of that world.

Yep, that is the good thing about it. Alright guys, I'm about to start listing. Running about 75 or so right now, let's see how many more I can get on.

Alright guys, I got 13 listed now, maybe some more later tonight we will see. I'm at 89 right now and feel like I didn't even make a dent. I've got most of the back of one of my papers and 2 more to go after that with listings to do, and of course I have other stuff I could be taking pictures of and listing.

I picked up 9 Chevy 4x4 center caps tonight two are brand new and a John Muir cast iron steamer in excellent condition. Paid $30.00 for all of it. I'll list one set of center caps three day auction tonight and do bin and see if I can't move at least one set before I leave.

Nice haul! Yeah, the last few days I was in Florida, I was having selling withdrawls and was dying to look through that tackle box that I had gotten the week before. :laughing7: I've already got some watchers on some of them that I listed tonight. Countered again on an offer, hopefully they will accept.

Listed 2 items today. Traffic is picking up. 16 sales in July and still have lots to list. HH

Seems like more often than not when I counter offer the deal falls through.

Sounds like your doing awesome! Keep your momentum up!

That is true about the deal falling through. I accepted an offer this morning, so that is my third sale in July. My counter offer yesterday was only $1 or $2 more than the offer price. :laughing7: I'm sure they will eventually accept.

People sure are strange. On that set of center caps I put right in the title in caps MAKE OFFER. Be interesting to see how that goes.

I have considered doing something like that. I always mark up my BIN's so I can accept offers. I don't understand why people don't make more offers.

I think people get excited and just want it.

Yeah, I just wish they would get excited and click BIN and then pay.

How much trouble are you having with people paying?
