Okay, so I have a buyer that got a lure that didn't work right. He responded about 30 days later saying issue a partial refund. There were 3 lures in the lot, but instead of dividing by 3 to get the lure price, he went about half. I asked him why, and now about a week later, he responds saying that lure costs more when you buy it new. These were old collectable lures. In my mind the other 2 in the lot were worth more than it. He has already left me positive feedback, and everything, but he does have 50,000 feedback. What would you do?

I hate myself for saying this, but something seems fishy about that guy.

Isn't 45 days the max for a case? Has it been that long? Personally, it would depend on the total amount and how quickly they would resell. I'd say return for refund in that case, but if it is past the case time, then too bad and block him.

Wow, someone turned the switch on for me the last few weeks. Already up to 8 sales and 4 with bids... so 12 items as of the morning of the 3rd. Some nicer ones too. $15 hat, $30 shirt...

If past the dispute window... to bad for him. If not return all three for refund...sounds like a scam to me as well.

Well, I mean, it took him a week to send back to my message, so I am not going to be in any hurry for him. I need to check and see how long it has been. The only problem with a return is getting back a lure that he broke. It would do me no good to get it back. He did send pictures of it, and it appears the string is pulled out and not going back in.

I don't think so. Some kind of mechanism on the inside is messed up. I would have to cut it in half, and that would ruin it. I have 7 sales so far for September!

Only been listing 2-3 a day. Been pretty busy with other things... should get a lot done tomorrow and tonight.

Up to 15 sales and 3 items with bids. September is starting off awesome!

I sent the guy this back on the lures, and this is really what I thought too when I listed them.

The way I calculated the value on these lures is by old/collectable value. In my mind the powerpak was worth the least. Can you get the other 2 in stores anymore? I can't find anything about them being for sell still.

I've also sold 15 so far in September Justin. It is looking like a good month. I also have 1 with a bid.

I just listed two more wiring harnesses. I've been shipping multiple packages everyday! No sales yet today though. Glad to hear you guys are doing well to!
Bassmaster, I think the most I would refund is a third of sales price. Half is way to high...

Yeah, maybe I won't hear anything back. I think I should tell him after recalculating I can only give him $3 towards that lure instead of the $6 or so that it would be half.

Glad to hear you are doing good also DieselRam. I wish I had about 100 wiring harnesses laying around. They always sell.

And they sell for good money to! I have one more but its been cut up a little. Everyone seems to cut them instead of unplugging them. If they only knew how much money they were throwing away.

Yeah, if you can find an uncut taillight wiring harness, then it goes really good, at least on the older trucks.

It seems the older trucks are always hacked up in the taillight wiring.

For trailer brakes I guess.
