Ebay Listing Accountability Thread

Speaking of sales come in spurts, I had 2 lures that were on 2 different listings. They were the same lure and kind of a rare color, but they were really slow. After sitting for probably 6 months they both sold the other day with in an hour of each other to different buyers.

Do you think it has something to do with a particular fish being in season?

Listed 8. So far have sold 103 for the month. Starting to get worn out though, ready for another break. I ran probably 50 $.99 auctions last week though that's why that number is pretty high. Needed to just get some money out of things instead of sitting forever

Yeah I have a fair amount of inventory just sitting. Seems every time I turn around I am gathering up something else to sell.

I really don't know. I thought about that, but I think it is more of a collectable one. Either way, I'm just glad I sold them. :laughing7:

Gotta bump this back up. Not too much listing so far this month. 5 sales, including some nicer ones.

Did a ton of calculations and goal setting and.... may try this full time starting October. Cross your fingers for me.
I have a ton of inventory built up from flipping ebay lots and jewelry bags/jars at GW and with the new by the pound place and amazon FBA, I may get my goal of being my own boss.

One thing is for sure, if I have a metal detecting item for sale I do way better selling it on TNet than eBay.
I have no stress (FB) and I make 15% more on the item with no PayPal and eBay fees!
Best of luck out there!

Good luck Justin! You'll have to let us know how that goes. July was a good month, but August is looking slow.

Thanks guys, I hope it works out too!!! haha

made 6 sales over the weekend. Didn't list much, but started to organize lots of jewelry, buttons, etc I had horded in the past for next month's full-time venture.

I've had pretty good sales this month & sold 7 more items over the weekend. I also had a porcelain figurine break in the mail. That was painful.

That sucks about the figurine!!! Hopefully it was insured.

Yeah, sorry to hear about that figurine trdhdr007. :sadsmiley:

It wasn't insured. Been shipping things online for the last few years & haven't been buying insurance for almost that long. This is the first item worth more than $100 I've had a problem with. I've saved more than enough on insurance premiums to make up for it. Still sucks though.

I feel for you...but at least you've more than saved in insurance premiums.

yeah, thats how I look at it as well...

Yeah, I look at it that way too when I have an issue. Insurance is a pain to get paid for anyway.

I've sold several items this month on TNet in the classified section. So worth it even though I still elect to pay for Insurance and Signature Confirmation on high buck items! The money that I save on eBay fees definitely allows me to offset the price of insurance.
Charter membership is such a good deal!
TNet - 3
eBay - 0
