Edit - Half of a 17th century Spectacle Buckle - Thanks Cru

Two Saturdays on 500 acres and no old silver but I did find half of an a 17th century spectacle buckle. I had a great time and the homeowner was incredibly friendly. Sadly, on the second Saturday, the homeowners family dog had passed...RIP Trapper. Thanks for looking.

Man, with finds like that there has to be a few coins. Great hunt. Love the old buttons.

I don't know what it is. I think it's pewter and it has some markings on it, a crown and vr (victoria regina). If you have any ideas, let me know.

Looks like a decent hunt to me
isn't that scalloped piece in the last pic half an old buckle

Yes a padlock cover.

But more interesting is the half a 17th Century Buckle

The reason I hunted this field is because the back part of it was occupied from around 1650 - 1780's. There are remains of an old brick tobacco warehouse and a navigable creek. I wasn't able to get back there due to hunters running their dogs but I got as close as possible and found that buckle piece.
