Went out with the fellas to a site that I had mapped out in the middle of nowhere. Was a really good day for me.
Recovered a 1785 Nova Constellatio Crosby 3-B variety Copper Pointed Rays Large US
Also got a 1788 Vermont copper Ryder-29 variety out of the same hole.
My first colonial copper coin spill! 20181108_162830.webp20181108_173245.webp20181108_173404.webp20181109_095458.webp20181109_095551.webp

Amazing finds Well done!!!!!!

Easily one of the nicest Nova's I've ever seen dug. That VT looks sharp too. Congrats!

Man that Nova looks awesome! Congrats! :icon_thumleft:

That Nova is incredible. Great finds.

One more reason I want to dig in Massachusetts dirt.....

Amazing coins. The Nova Constellatio is just beautiful!!!

Absolutely amazing rare finds and Banner worthy in my opinion, so I voted Banner for the finds. You should post pics of both the Obverse and Reverse of the Vermont Copper along side of the Nova Constellatio.
