Stopped by my favorite CU and look what they were holding for me!

Morgans - beat up but hey!

42 silver 40% halves!!!!!!!

These were from the 4 boxes of nickels I went through this week
10 war nickels and 1 buffalo nickel

I have had an awesome week!!! Lets hope this keeps up. HH

Were they also holding the 40%'s for you, or is that what you found in boxes this week?

my vault teller at that Cu was holding all of the halves and the morgans for me. The nickels came from brinks boxes at BOFA. I did not get any halves boxes this week. I have some coming in next week.

she said someone dropped them off first of the week but it was after I had already been in. I will be bringing her and the rest of them some treats next week.

WOW!!! amazing finds, wish the tellers near me did not know about silver... each time I ask for large dollars they say, "we have 'x' amount of eisenhower dollars"- meaning they know the difference from ikes and peace/morgans.

my dump bank CHASE knows all about silver. SO I dump all my half dollars there. The Cu I got all these from know about silver but they don't care and they cant buy anyway. They always ask me when I go in if I found anything in the coin i got from them. :-). I usually pick up 1500 in various coins a week from them. They also order me halves when I ask.
