Any NOX 600 or 800 guys or ladys out there use there NOX to find concentrations of black sand to prospect with highbanker/sluice/drywasher/dredge? it could cut down on time sampling.
Or does anyone know if it can even be set to not discriminate out the black sands?
I am going to get a 800 and was thinking why can't I use it to find black sands in creeks and up my chances for prospecting?

Sure! The 800 will find heavy black, no problem. It will be slight rises in your threshold. I think a Goldbug II might be better for your purpose though:skullflag:

Thank Terry. I am sure a GB 2 would work but if i can save money and only have to buy one detector that can be used for all kinds of hunting thats a big plus.
Any chance the display shows some numbers or maybe in pinpoint some kind of concentration like on whites gmt ?
