Anyone heard anything about when? Costing me days of water hunting now, gettin cranky here!

I was told by ML they will be available this month.

There are also some aftermarket custom sets available now. Don't have any feedback yet as to performance and comfort.

Just got a pair yesterday. So far they work great, but, I haven't gone totally underwater yet.

I purchased a pair of custom waterproof headphones from ebay. Item 273197751513

$99

They work pretty well. They sound better wet.

Have some questions if you wouldn't mind answering...How is the fit ? is the cord long enough? and does the threaded connection seem to seal well?
Thanks,
Jeremy

wp headphones are in and waiting for me to pick them up.. I'll get them tomorrow....

this is in as well....just waiting for the 6" coil

Note on that adapter cable that the 1/4" female jack is NOT waterproof. so you don't want to let it get wet or dunked in the water. The 1/8" plug is waterproof.

thanks....I'm going to cut it off and splice some other connector to it....:laughing7::headbang:

I picked them up this morning....the lead on the minelab wp headset is long enough to tie to the shaft and then run up under the arm cuff before the wire begins to spiral.it comes with two of their velcro straps to secure the wire to the shaft in these places. the wire coil is a bit tight for my preference so I reversed it.giving it a loose coil that will not tug the head set.....the sound volume is a bit low but may get louder once wet....I'll let you know once I hit the serf....for now I'm doing mostly fresh water lakes and rivers....

Fit is ok, they are a little tight, but most of my headphones feel tight for the first few months. The cord is a bit short when coiled. I've been leaving it stretched out to try to loosen it up a little. The threaded connection seals fine, I've done several water hunts with it.

If you have a lead on minicab headphones I'd choose those first. These are OK but the I am finding the audio is missing treble. Sort of like listening to your stereo with the bass turned up and the treble turned down. When they are wet, the bass is reduced and and it's a bit more balanced, but the volume is also reduced a bit.

Here is the mod so I can use my Gray Ghost Amphibians for my 3030 on my quinox.

The Minelab WP headphones made by Koss are starting to arrive at U.S. dealers. We have already seen a post on another forum with pictures and reviews of the phones that were purchased from a Minelab dealer last week. I would link the post here, but Treasure Hunter would whack my wee wee!

I ordered the same white set that cudamark posted!:icon_thumleft:
