Good waterproof headphones suggestion?

Can anyone recommend a good pair of waterproof detector headphones to go with my Minelab Manticore? I don't want to spend a ton, especially after I'm about to upgrade my scoop.

I have Tony Eisenhower build them for me. He makes the best IMO.

DetectorPro Gray Ghost. I have been using them on the ATX, Excalibur, Manticore, Minelab 800. Never a failure, but I might thin there are more comfortable ones that do not produce as much wind noise. No matter what you buy, make sure you get ones that are compatible with your detector, specially the plug.​

As for a scoop, the ONLY one I would buy is one made of titanium with carbon fiber handle. At 78 years of age, any heavier scoop is a killer, especially if you detect over 400 hours a year.

Spend the money for a quality headphone, all of the above are good. One good find will pay for them, one great day will pay for the machine and the headphones. You're off to a good start already. Good luck

After looking over some of the suggestions posted here, I ordered a set of these from Amazon. Just arrived today. My previous headphones seemingly didn't come home with me after my last outing. These headphones look amazing. Were listed as water proof upto 200 feet. I really like that it has an audio jack & chord. The bluetooth is always a fight, & sometimes when the Metal Detector is completely submerged, the audio will cut in & out.

I'll second cudamark. I just ordered a set of Tony Eisenhower custom headphones. He's making me a set of Blue headphones, which has cups that are wider/bigger than his white phones. The Blue phones have better noise attenuation, so better to hear those faint "Whisper" signals. He's also adding his enhanced impedance matching circuitry which boosts the volume. I wanted to combine quieter phones with louder volume. I also selected his Divers version, same as the Waders version, he just adds a few drain holes to allow water to drain more quickly & thoroughly.

And those "off the shelf" phones can be very expensive for the lesser quality you'll probably receive. I saw Minelab's waterproof phones selling for $170. For less than the price of a Starbuck's coffee's price difference, you can get a set of Tony's hand-make headphones, which all reports have indicated are super comfortable. Even Gigmaster did a comparison of Tony's white phones to Minelab's waterproof phones, said that the Minelab phone headband hurt the top of his head after a while, but with Tony's phones, they were so comfortable that he could wear them all day, and wouldn't shake off the head.

Tony doesn't have a website, only works via email, so if you'd like to get a faster reply, email him and in the subject line put: "Tony, Sand Swinger from the TreasureNet forum sent me". Excellent, you'll love em', they're extremely comfortable. Tony's a great guy; I now consider him to be a friend. In fact, when I was getting my "new to me" Dual Field PI put together, it kinda turned into a group project, as a bunch of guys from various forums jumped in to help by offering parts I needed, and also by searching online for deals on parts so I could save some $. Lots of great and very generous guys in the forums. I told Tony about the project, as that was the detector I was ordering the headphones for, and once it was all together, he emailed me with a name suggestion.

Tony suggested that since I had put the detector together from a variety of parts graciously volunteered by multiple guys, that it should be called "Franken DuFi", and thus it was so, lol. BTW, my Dual Field was previously owned and modded by OBN, to accept other headphones and also modded with an Excal battery pod to give me longer run times. OBN had modified the headphone pigtail to accept a connector from a Minelab CTX 3030, so I told Tony and he attached a CTX 3030 plug to the headphones, so they plug right into the pigtail.
