Found today ... in some shoes. We're having an estate sale at the ranch and the person running it found them. We thought we might have missed some things, and we did. Each one is about 7 pounds. Probably came from my grandfather - he messed with silver for awhile making jewelry, etc. Probably coin silver.

They say you never truly know a man until you walk a mile in their shoes. In this instance simply looking inside his shoes sufficed. These silver bars are probably the most expensive things I've ever seen pulled out of clothing, and I've found my fair share of dollar bills in thrift store jeans. Going to have to start checking shoes now. 😄

I'd walk many miles for what was in those shoes. We need to ask what shoes they were found in... must have been boots or cowboy boots to fit bars that size.

14 lbs would be worth $12,870.00
On a good day 85% $11K sale.

On 5000 grams I got 85% yesterday once the melt is done.
