Etrac Protector

Anyone installed a ProTector skin on their Etrac over the factory foam handle? It's way too "fat" for me to hold. Can you get the foam off without cutting it? This may make the ProTector cover more manageable to hold. Advice?

The foam handle can be removed, but you need to use some soapy water to get it to slide. It's not an easy process. I cut mine off and use tennis wrap for my handle now. Most dealers carry or can get the foam handle covers, they aren't expensive.

Thanks Wayne. The mates across the ocean on ML Forum all said they left them on but I don't like how big a diameter it is with Protector over foam (my hands aren't little euther) and the Velcro is not completely overlapped like it should be. I'm just going to cut it off. It's already loose, but I don't see a way to get it over the rear stand with ripping it.

I have the 3 piece protector from eBay on my Etrac, and I love it. I have very small hands, yet the added bulk doesn't bother me at all.
