Finally located a ghost town that I had been looking for. I didn't have much time to hunt because I spent a few hours locating it, but I did manage to find a boot spur. Everyone always wants to find boot spurs (and six shooters), but very few are ever found. I tried to find the other in the area of this one, but no luck. Weather permitting, I may return tomorrow and put more time into detecting instead of driving around. sorry for the poor pic quality, I was in a bit of a hurry.

Great find, I'd rather find that than a coin anyday.
(except a rare coin LOL)

Yup...that's a nice-looking spur, Paully. :o

That would be great to display somehow. Maybe in a riker frame with an old map of the ghost town in the background. 8)

What's a riker frame?

Congrats on the spur find. It would make for a nice addition to a display. Looking forward to future posts from this site! 8)
