Alright, here's the story. Right down the street from where I live was an old pre-Civil War era house, probably from the early 1800's. Not only that, but a little over a year ago I found out that it was a part of the Underground Railroad System, you know, just one of the most iconic things in our country's history. So, ever since I learned that I was just itching to hunt that place. However, about two years back the property owner died and the home had been up for sale until about six months ago when somebody finally bought the land. Now, I'll admit that the house wasn't in the best shape, but one day the new owners come in and completely LEVELED the house. Anyways, it's been about six months since that happened and there hasn't been a sign of anyone there since. They bought the house, demolished it, an left. It's a shame that people can treat a piece of our country's history like that...

Yep, that's a shame. History means nothing when you have enough money. We used to have a historic WPA built national guard armory in my town. It was even on the national historic register. But the city wanted the land for a new school so they demolished the registered historic site.

True, but I think the ground would just be littered with nails, my f2 probably wouldn't be able to do it even with the 4inch coil

My yard was riddled with nails when I got my MDs over a year ago, turn the sensitivity to about 3/4 and scrim out iron and that F2 would be sniffing out whatever's in that old piece of land-

If my 11 year old can get it done like this with the F2- I'm sure you can! I originally got the F2 for the wife, but he uses it now more than she does.

Man it's only gonna be a few more years before he's out hunting me at least in the number of finds! No matter the MD- getting old sucks! The old knees sure ain't what they used to be!

But yeah if you're going over there- you can feel confident in the old F2.

Bleh!..dig all the nails!. Then you don't have to worry so much about two pesky words..masking effect.
That or get a minelab, they eat masking effects for breakfast.
