I bought an old tool box last weekend yard saling. I went through it and came across a couple of old coins. Not sure if they are real or fake. Anyone know what these are? Year/era minted? 20180710_235710.webp20180710_235730.webp

I'm gonna say that the coins other than the dime could definitely maybe be real. Nice find.

Maybe it's the photos but for me the silver is a fake and the bronze one doesn't look good either
Sorry to say that

I believe the attribution of the reverse image will read:
Athena Alkidemos standing left, holding shield on outstretched left arm, hurling thunderbolt with right hand.

Hope it's the real deal but there were some replica coins a few yrs. ago put out by Publishers Clearing House or some such. Good luck.

Granted, whether or not these items are replicas or fantasy pieces is one thing to ascertain.
However, in that research process one also has the opportunity to learn what the object represents and therefore gain knowledge of history.
