lol.........an accident. I placed it in the wrong bag after showing it a few months back. I found that 1915 40 Centavos coin in Fla with the Fisher F5 about 5 years ago. It was supposed to go in my International bag and not the LRP aged silver bag. Also an 1890 Canadian (my oldest Canadian, found with the F5) found in Abingdon VA about 5 years ago. I have 5 rolls of wheaties in coil rolls, 1 roll of Kennedy Halves, etc. I try to categorize my coins the best I can.
Yeah. The LRP is a silver demon. I just can't pull nickels as well as silver, although I do pull them. But the LRP loves silver.
I have a chance to do an exclusive hunt on my wifes brother-in-laws farm and land. He has like lots of acreage and raises cows. There was supposedly a civil war battle fought on it according to him. I have never sought out relics, but will do what I can. Hopefully the soldiers dropped some coins. He said next month after he hauls off some of the cows.
Many of my silvers with the LRP came last year when Walters State did their expansion in downtown Greeneville. When an old mom and pop grocery was demolished to make way for the new campus expansion, the dirt was turned. To avoid construction, I went down and hunted on two separate Sunday's. Lots of junk, but lots of good finds in the 1700s downtown area. After two Sundays of the best hunting I ever did, the chain link fence went up to contain construction.
