Favorite Field

Since deer season ended last weekend I was able to look one of my favorite fields Tuesday (5 hours) and today (4 hours). You would not believe how much chert chips you find in this field over an extremely large area. After looking 9 hours, I still have a lot of field to look. In addition to a lot of broken points I was pleased to find these. The quartz point is a real heartbreaker. I don't find many quartz points in southwest Georgia.

I like the quartz one and the small point above it. I think I have one like it that I found walking a firebreak in south Dougherty County several years back.
It won't be long and the fields will be plowed!
