It felt really good to get out and do some detecting yesterday. I haven't barely touched my detector since this past spring. Work sure does have a way of keeping us from having fun. I went back to an old home site that has the potential of producing some civil war era coinage, I just haven't been able to come up with any yet. I did happen to get this token of sorts. It's aluminum, so it's not as old as I would like it to be. It reads Victor Peterson, Donaldson Ind. Donaldson is small town about 5 miles southwest of my place, and I found this thing about 5 miles north east of my place. I'm not sure what it is, and I'm working on finding out who Victor Peterson was.
