That's very exciting TJE...you're famous! I'll have to see if it's online....? Oh, by the way was looking at your avatar and trying to figure out what it is....it's interesting, I know that! lol Wish it was bigger...will go to your page maybe it's there larger? Looks like either...the sun, or comet, or meteorite...contrail? Maybe even an angel with a red halo....?

Hey ck, will try to find the pic and put it in album...yes, it is the sun has very strange things going on around it in the pic....(the book) it's just an ackknowlegment at the end heh heh.

Heh heh, ok, I was standing up on the highest point/ridge of the quarry (which is 'un-quarried'), snapped a pic of a plane (jumbo jet headed SE to Toronto's Pearson Airport) passing by/under the sun with it's contrail/chemtrail..whichever..behind it. That's all I seen with my eyes,..and then through my camera pic I got this. Never happened before or since...Full size pic zoomed in is wild/weird!..Can't explain it. But will get someone to find it on here for me to show you..and others. Totally strangest pic I've took (without seeing what I took)!!??

The top/left orange thing..which is 'Larger than'.. and partially hidden "Behind" the sun!..looks like a perfect Fiery 'ball', with a ring connected to it all the way around it's circumference'..like Saturn's rings?. Then, in the bottom/right coming out of the sun appears to be an explosion of Light/Rays? ...like the "ringed fireball sent/caused the burst through the perfect direct angle out the otherside of the sun!?? :dontknow:

Baffled me for about 10 yrs. now.

...this is going to drive me nuts until I can see it larger, thanks TJE! lol What did you mean by maybe "getting someone on here to find it"....is it running around loose on TN...lol picturing that! Would Tnmountains know? He's sure nice, we could ask him? I want this to be a major picture post...a MPP! lol Have to ask this because others would/will (sorry)....what about some sort of reflection...? Although I don't know how!?

"Refection"...never seen one like this (avatar) pic in all my photos ever!....try tilting the top of your computer screen down/back and away from you....the pic will get darker and easier to see the wierd stuff!

at least that's what mine does.

Thanks ck, I think? I may have posted long ago...been making Inukshuk's for about 3-4 winters, would have had about 30 or more (no two the same)...but can't seem to build my collection ( family & friends keep wanting them for gifts and whatnot).

Here's two (only ones discovered to date) of identical unknowns, not yet seen/studied by the '"pro's". I had split/uncovered only one (darker specimen).Then 10 yrs. later..discovered the second one! It (lighter color specimen), obviously because of the elements of wind/sun/rain/snow it is harder to see the definitions' but they're there!..had been laying in a pile of scrape stone quarried by my grandpa (already expoded) but un-noticed 50-60 yrs. earlier. Heh, heh,...go figure the odds!

First thought after first discovery it was (because of the noticeable 'tapering' of the body ...possible gills/covering at one end/and smooth bodied skin at the other? of an extra large cephalopod (squid family)?..just a 'edumacated' guess

haha.
p.s. the soft bodies had 'flattened' somewhat after death I believe...(the fossils 'flat bottom side' is acutually the bottom of the 'layer' of quarrystone).

That's pretty amazing TJE and exciting! You find such interesting things...think you could put together a book of them & sell it! And yes, I understand why everyone wants your Inukshuk's....you're going to have to start making them in secret so you can get you collection together...lol
