I live in nc, i see a north, on left side, and maybe 2 human looking figures in middle, the rest i can't determine��

IMHO: It appears to be a button, I'm sure someone will chime in an solve the mystery!

Yes, it's a North Carolina button from the Civil War period. I don't have my book here, but that's an intelligent guess.
