Field of Buckles 9-5-2025 **Bucket Lister**

Spent a couple hours after work at the "Field of Buckles". Neither my wife or I had much luck today, mostly trash. On the way back to the car I had a loud and clear 90 on the Manticore. Opened up the hole and found this:

A Standing Liberty Quarter, my first. And I hit it with the shovel! Unfortunately, it's heavily worn. No date visible.

Congrats on your first Standing Liberty Quarter ! If its any consolation, most are found dateless. I have found 12 of them, and only 2 have very clear visible dates.

Thanks! I think my favorite would be the Seated Liberty. Maybe someday I'll find one.

I had a run for about 6-8 months……best find of the day was the first or second signal. Always kidded about just doing 5 min hunts.

I've had a couple of good finds on the way back to the car before. Never anything as good as the SLQ! But you are right, I've had many hunts where the first or second find was the best of the day.
