I am new to T-net and roam many different sections on this website. I think this place is awesome! I have been doing some CRH, also I just recently bought a used metal detector that I am learning to use. I am not sure if the other type of hunting/ finding would be classified CRH but it is real close. I work as a cashier and I always keep an eye out for old coins that come through and what I give out. I figure I will start posting some of my finds on here. Recently I have found an 1892 indian head penny, a 1909 V-nickel, A 1935 buffalo nickel, two mercury dimes, last week I found a silver rosie in the till and two silver washington quarters in one roll that was wrapped with the clear plastic. Today in a plastic wrapped roll of dimes sticking out like a sore thumb was a silver with a great wide very shiny crisp edge. I excitedly open it up to see that it was a 2003 S proof silver, I was amazed! I also ocassionally find some wheaties, the most common finds are nickels from the early 40's (including atleast two war nickels so far) through the early 60's. I will keep in touch, Take care!

Sounds like CRH to me. It doesn't have to come in a roll to be CRHing. I always look in all registers for silver when I shop (nothing yet) and I also always look in the coin trays the bank tellers use. Best so far from a teller tray is a Franklin Half.

Welcome to the asylum...er, forum, LOL. Those are some great finds from just till searching. Keep us updated on your latest discoveries.
