Well we are back home equipment stored, everything counted and logged. We were having a good weekend but then todays finds made it an unbelievable weekend. Since friday eveing we hunted a total of 12 spots, 11-elementary schools, and 1 community park. The park we had visited last year briefly. 3 of the 11 schools we detected were new sites.
k onto the recap, as mentioned last night,we had found bout 27.00 in clad between the two of us as well as some other goodies. Today we detected from 9:00 until 2:30, we hit the park first, here Bobbie found a sac dollar. silver charm, and couple more dollars in change, I found less than a buck and another silver earring.
At second spot, an elementary school with 2 large sand play areas and a small one bobbies first signal was the gold over silver earring in the pic, now interesting thing about this earring is that it has real diamonds in it, as she checked them with the diamond tester when we got home. I found the white gold band there also.There was lots of clad here, bobbie found over $10.00 here while I found $8.00. Next school ,couple of miles, has medium size mulch play area. Bobbie found another$6.50 here give or take, I found little less than $5.00 also recoverd was close to 50 trash targets by me didnt even ask bobbie how much trash she found. After a break for lunch we went to our last spot, another elementary school in the same county where the other 2 we had been to already today.But one we had never detected before. This was to be our last spot we detected today as we were both beat after this one, and we had a long drive home. Bobbie found 18" 10k chain from in front of her swings she also found around $6.00, I kept hitting pockets of quarters and ended up with over $9.00. We met a nice couple as we were heading back to the car. They were getting their detectors out and planned to hunt the front of the school. We chatted with them for a few mins and exchanged numbers.
So here at home we counted up and took the pics. Bobbies finds for the weekend totaled 350 coins for $40.72, the gold chain, 2 silver pendents and the gold over silver earring. I finished with 340 coins for $38.00, 2 gold rings, and 5 silver earrings. The pics are from friday nights finds, total finds for both of us, then the goodies pic for today and yesterday
I know our road trips are always an adventure, but I was not expecting us to have these kinds of results. We hope everyone else was able to get out this weekend
