I’ve been relic hunting for over 40 years and found many Union plates, but my CS bucket list buckle has alway eluded me. Well not today! Plow struck, but golden to me....

That's a great find, after 40 years I'm sure you couldn't believe what you were seeing....huge congrats!!--JB

Thank you JBnNC, you’re absolutely right, I was stunned to see it come out of the ground. I was an amazing feeling for sure.

It was definitely my Unicorn, I was beginning to think I’d never find one.

I would get back there and find the wreath half to that.....Banner CS relic!

I add my very jealous congrats! That would make my YEAR. 3 or 4 in fact!

Congratulations on an excellent find. It took me 45 years to find a confederate button, I don't think I will live long enough to find a buckle!

Congrats on a really nice find!

Wow, fantastic!

I’ve found a few confederate buttons, but finding the buckle tongue was amazing! I hope you find your Confederate buckle tomorrow. Now I need to find the matching wreath....

40 year quest is over ! Amazing history , prize relic and Banner Worthy .
I don't mind the Banner people stuff .... It is distracting , but hey ,
not based on skill ,

just luck imho

Congrats on an excellent find. Plow struck or not, at least its still in good enough shape to display, and its yours ! If everything came out of the ground in mint condition, we would just go to the store and buy it rather than dig it, and that would not be fun !

Awesome historic relic! :occasion14:
