Finally, A CS Buckle!

I’ve been relic hunting for over 40 years and found many Union plates, but my CS bucket list buckle has alway eluded me. Well not today! Plow struck, but golden to me....

You always hear about guys finding the tongue (or wreath) and then finding the other half somewhere close by. Sounds like you and I have the same kind of luck....[emoji12]

For those that have asked to see it after it was repaired, I got it back today. Nothing was added, all of the original brass was with the piece, it just needed to be straightened. I decided not to overdo it and straighten the small bend in the disc. I think it looks pretty good and displays better now. Before and after pictures.

If you could PM me a referral would be great! Awesome looking job ! Thanks , and again congrats !!. Hard item to come by and I have yet to find the match the goes with mine , but still hopeful.
