Nice color - welcome to the forum. Was it beach sand you were digging? and what classification did you use?

It was in the river I was finding the best color under roots. And I was actually using a wire strainer I didn't have anything else haha I was looking in the bottom of the strainer for any bigger flakes but came up with nothing

Hi supra and welcome. Nice color and amount for first gold. To get rid of the air bubble in the vile hold it and the cap under water when you put the cap on. Nothing wrong with using a stainer, just don't let the wife catch you.

Haha not married but good tip on that one lol I bought a strainer just for this. Most of the gold came from the first hour in one spot it was very productive then it just stopped so I moved on and barely found anything I guess my luck ran out for that day haha
