WOO HOO!!! ~~~doing the happy dance~~ I finally dug up some real "stuff".
I only had about an hour today between errands so I headed to an old school nearby to practice with my Ace. Unfortunately, the playground was fenced and locked, so I wondered into the nearby woods (watching for snakes) and found part of an old stone foundation of what may have been a cabin or something.
I walked around it a bit, looking and saw a run off area where a little stream of rain water had been through.
So I thought...I'll try here in this run off cause there was no grass or weeds.
BING BING!!! first pass and I got a signal. Hee Hee. It was just a 1994 penny about 2 inches down...but I was stoked!
BING! a couple of feet further I got a nice signal, and easily dug up a little bracelet at about 3 inches.
A few feet further..BING! Trash!
But then BING BING .This dig took a little longer cause I couldn't quite pinpoint it..but finally it made it's appearance and it was a charm. ( and its sterling!!! )
Then just before I made my way back to my car, I got a signal, so decided I would go ahead and dig it. It was some type of cross earring or front of a pin, very pretty with pink crystal looking stones.
Most of the stuff was in good shape, doesn't look old, although the penny doesn't look like copper.
Anyway, just wanted to share my little stuff.
Thanks for reading.
I cleaned them up and am posting pictures.
Ahhhhh~~happy dance~~
