After almost 2 months of swinging the Pro I finally struck gold.
Detecting a baseball field this morning as the sun came up, got a repeatable 51-53-51-53. Sounds just like a pull tab,
but I dig it any way cause that's what we do. Bingo at about 4" out pops a women's gold wedding band. A 2.5 gram Gold
Beauty.
Also fund a junk mood ring and $3.59 in clad all in about an hour. Nice way to kick start the week
I was getting tired of waiting for gold. I knew it would come it is just a matter of time.
I have had the Pro for 1.5 months. Not anything I can say bad about the unit. I have 3 other detectors
that cost 3 times as much as the Pro. My go to machine for general park, coin and jewelry hunting is the Pro.
It is a dime and quarter magnet. I was pulling dimes at least 6 inches this morning. This baby does not miss
a dime or a quarter, ever.
The headphone cable is too short, the stand is to narrow and the headphone and coil wire attachments are cheeeeeeeeeeeeeese.
I can live with all of that. That isn't saying something bad about the machine and its ability to find C&J, its is just a fact about the
construction of the unit. Garrett built a great detector with some poor incidental designs. Garret ts should borrow a page from
Whites Electronics in Sweet Home, Oregon and take a giant leap in customer service, they should fix their design flaws for free in my
opinion. That ain't going to happen so I deal with it.
