Finally Got out Today.

But Very Short Hunt.
I need to try taking an Oxycodone for my Back next time.

what felt like a 30 to 45 Minute Hike around the White Building,
was probably only 20 minutes tops









First Dig as I entered the Park, about an Inch Down



Second Dig Behind the Building, Large Round Right shape
But Aluminum, about 2 Inches Down.



third & Final Dig ,
Took awhile, About 5" Down
I felt it in My Rib While Trying to Dig through Gravel to Reach Soft Ground.
stabbed it twice.



all my Pain went away when I saw this and kept swinging, but couldn't find any
more repeatable signals there, then my pain come back.

headed for the car and picked up an eyeball find. just because.



when I got back to town I saw this
& stopped to Take a Pic. It as hit by a Car, But
Opened it's Mouth Wide & headed my Way,
When I walked over to get a Pic



Unfortunately it Curled up at that Point & an SUV
Ran over its Head seconds Before this Pic.
I'd guess 4 to 5 feet

Well! How about that! Welcome back Jeff! You don't need my advice on how to slip back into form. But, if I may dare....After you went thru all that you did, on the first hunt back, you pick on a spot with gravel and hard ground!?!?!?

Come on!!! For heaven's sake! Think man! Go to one
of those spots with nice soft soil and plenty of shade!
Go easy man!

By the by, when the Doc said it was ok for you to go detecting. Did you explain to him that what *real* detectorists do is far from a leisurely stroll on a soft sand beach, kicking some small amount of sand every now and then?

Glad you could get out Jeff. One reason I dive is to take the pain off my neck and back. Sometimes hard to get the tank to the water but 3 hours of relief is worth it. Congrats on the injun.
