Hello all,
I've been working a site this year and I have found probably 50 wheat pennies there before today but had yet to find a silver coin. Well today that changed and I found two silver dimes, one is a 1942 Mercury dime and the other is a 1947 Roosevelt dime. I also found 13 wheat pennies with dates from 1936 to 1958, 1959 nickel, a night watchman key, and a weird skull ring. I got a semi in situ pic of the Mercury dime and it was a spill with a 1951 wheat and 1962 memorial. My 2017 goals are 100 wheats and 10 silver coins so hopefully I will get it done!
Now onto the real surprise. I went for a 4 mile run on Saturday and early on I found a silver heart charm laying on the ground stopped and picked it up. I thought nothing about it but then today started to notice that it had stamped Denmark on it along with 925S and a hallmark that was GJ. Well today I decided to research it and you can imagine my surprise when I found out it was a Georg Jensen Sterling heart charm!! She's a little worse for wear, I think she was run over a time or two but eBay prices are around $100-$120 for this thing brand new!!
