Finally got XLT! First hour's finds...

Hi all,

Well, after almost a month and one bad unit later, finally got my new XLT
last night to replace my VERY aging 4000d.? Wow!? What a huge
difference!

I hit my own backyard this morning for one hour, and found 79
cents in clad and a very cool Partha BattleTech solid pewter
miniature figurine - seems they are collectible on Ebay (not high
value - $3 - $20 depending) - but very cool indeed!? VDI was
low and the icon was pulltab / ring - not bad!? And this 'haul'
was ONLY just around the basketball court.? I have 1/3 acre
of lawn left!? Nothing old expected - the house was build on
'virgin' land in 1989... but fun anyway.

Anyway, back to work - will have to wait for Saturday to play
again?

Sometimes "virgin" land is not so pristine as one would think! I wouldn't be surprised if that piece of property has a greater history waiting to be uncovered! 8)

Yep, you'll notice a difference alright! Got an excellent new machine and unhunted ground right there at home! Have fun it don't get much better!
