I don't normally post a lot of my finds on TF, I'm throwing this up here because the day I thought would never come, came today!!!
After three years of some hard detecting, I have dug a real, a half real, large cents, shield nickels, V-nickels, and even that crazy fine capped bust last week. I still hadn't dug a seated coin of any kind.
it was getting to the point that I thought my detector repelled them, until today.
I hit a well picked-over old spot today. Nothing was happening there for me except the trombone mouthpiece, so I moved on to a different area altogether and swung over a deep target. Out popped that skeleton key, a cool find in my book.
Well, I kept swinging in the same area and got another deepie under a branch, so I moved the branch and dug - and there she was!

Finally!

So it was a good day after all!
The only thing I regret is that I was off on my own when I dug her, and had no one there to share the excitement with. I had to do a lot of texting!
Thanks for checking out my latecomer seated and HH to you all!
