Finally… some finds to share 😅 xx

Well finally we got to go digging, it has been literally roasting here in the UK, and as you know, we Brits do not do well in heat 😅 … today was a bearable 25.. so we forced our selves out of hibernation and braved the weather and nasty bitey little black flies 😳 xx

Nice little bit of a toy gun, a fancy mount type thingy, obligatory musket ball, pretty button, a tack mount (front and back ) lead washer, buttons, George 3rd penny, Victoria Shilling 1881, and a Slick Willy!

The harvest has started in a couple of the fields, and some ne fields have e come back to the Estate, so if the weather sorts itself out, we should have loads of fields to keep us busy! 😎 xx

I thought the slick Willy was a Love Token at first, well dug.

Happy to see that you were able to get out despite the weather. We've had a series of heatwaves in Massachusetts, and another one is set to begin tomorrow. That kind of weather takes a lot of fun out of a day of detecting. When you add in biting flies/ mosquitos, etc, it can make for a real ordeal. Congrats on all your finds! Here's hoping for some better weather ahead.
