Really feels like spring is coming look at the amazing colour of the hedge!!! Its been a long winter!! xx
Blossom got hammered again!
Super hunt!
Congrats.
The ever domestic domicile potential sign of a thimble. And buttons.
Buttons from laundry. Buttons from random non authorized departures at opportune moments. dark of night elopements of button pairs. Or just a buttons escape from the pressures of a life imposed upon it by needle thread and perhaps even thimble. Though wayward thimbles themselves are certainly exampled in your case.
Is than an ancient ruin in the distant left side of your field picture? (It wants to be .)
The coppicing of the hedge upfront...
Reminds of a tractor front loader bucket mounted sickle blade I try not to look at again and ponder buying. Sure could put one to use at times though.
You remain a hammered coin magnet..
Almost looked like a bullet had hit the one hammered at first glance.
A steel wheel may have bitten it.
But it's certainly a clutch warmly recovery regardless.
Flint shard is a keeper. Having been worked insists; doubly so. It might be traceable to origin of host material.
( The gun flints imported from England to the U.S. are often dark. Charcoal to black. Some a little lighter. Black Brandon flint is really a type of chert . Martin's clump over Wallop Hampshire works kind of stuff maybe. )
Thanks for sharing your Saturday's hunt again!
