I don,t know,but I,ll pass along some knowledge I,ve picked up here. Do you have a gold ring of some kind? If you do take it and your detector to your beach.Bury the ring in the sand and see what your detector says when you coil over it.

Gold rings on equinox will usually ring in the range from low singles digits if broken to high 20s if large gold rings. Hunting at the beach you should dig everything 1 and above, zero, and below is ferrous.
