Spent a night at the new area we are trying to open up, buts it's very obvious that getting permission is going to be near impossible this is a very sensitive area Archaeological wise. But the pasture camp site we are staying at is right next to a ancient road and area but very sandy, and the fields have huge build up over the years, anything that has not been ploughed on a regular basis is very difficult, finds being very deep.

The site has had a Victorian Mill once and finds reflected this, but a few older items have shown as well, one for my partner was a fragment of a 13thc foreign hammered. An Anglo-Gallic hardi d'argent of Aquitaine, stuck under Henry IV, Henry V or Henry VI. My best find turned out to be a Georgian watch fob seal, which has a heart at the centre and a small inscription which is very difficult to make out. WITH LOVE OF -------? never seen a small one like this before, but quite pleased with it.
My Mate also found a fragment of Bronze Age, looks like a dagger point
