Finds from the San Francisco Baseball Field! ...Silver & Gold!

Hunted a baseball filed in San Francisco today with my hunting partner Ryan. We both had a great day!
Ryan had 2 silver dimes and a 10K gold high school ring! I managed to dig 3 silver dimes, 7 wheat pennies
And a ton of clad, a little over $10.00. (gas money). Both of together dug up over 200 coins from this field
Today! We know that much more remains! Will return next weekend!

After reading your post I tried a local ball field myself and found a '51D rosie! Thanks for the post, and I now have a great spot to hit for months to come.

Baseball fields have most always been pretty good places to hunt. The trick is trying to find the older ones, or ones built before 1964. The one I'm working in now goes back to the 1940's. Just work them slow and listen for the wisper of the deeper 6 to 8 inch beeps. A solid hit in the 6 to 8 inch range has a good chance of being a wheatie or a silver. HH
