Got permission to detect on a old farm plot that dates back to the 1700's. Today I found a Old hand made shovel, remains of a lantern, and the regular old shot gun shells and tin foil. Last week I found a old button from the 1700's and a 1783 Constellatio Nova Copper. Gonna try and put some pics up.

Very cool button and coin! Looks like you have a great site.

Great finds, keep pounding that place!!!

From the looks, You've got a lot of great hunts ahead of you!!!
Nice finds.

Nice finds. They say it's bad luck to have more than one Constellatio so let me know when you get another one and I'll email my address to send here. Kidding. That is great. You're off to a great start!

I've been waiting to get down there with you Mike & Rick
I am happy for ya, that is a find of a lifetime
congrats

How did you clean that Constellatio coppa? My uncle dug one last year at one of our Colonial sites.

That also looks like a dandy button there; they are pretty cool buttons to excavate.

zoy these are supposedly a very rare coin to find, you guys found one where did you send it to get pro cleaned and graded...we found 3 more coins that are rough and know that they are from the same time frame but don"t want to do the wrong type of cleaning and not get any detail off of them...thanks mike
