Hey everyone!

Got out for a little hunt today with a friend. He wanted to learn the ropes so I packed my second setup and set out. He found a few pennies and said he had a good time!

I had a slow start to the day but was pleased to
get a wheat penny near the end of the day. I swear it’s a 1957-S but I don’t think those exist?

Very soon after I found the 1948-S Rosie. This has almost certainly never happened to me, but I found silver on every outing this month! 11/11! One time it was only a silver earring but every other time it included at least one silver coin. For reference I only found silver on 1 of 6 outings last month. It was also my second most prolific silver coin month ever with 15.

My last fun find of the day was the aluminum souvenir token from Maine! Can’t seem to find much about it online but I doubt it’s more than 30 years old.

I can’t expect the same next month but hopefully March is great too. Good luck all and happy hunting!!

Just realized the token says “23th State”. Does anyone proofread anymore? Lol.

Just looked back over my hunt history and realized the title is a lie [emoji2361]

I’m on an 11 hunt streak but 12/13 in February.

Nice streak!
15 silvers in a month is great. Don't we wish they could all be that prolific!
I'm sure you've checked closely, but I think the top curve on that last date digit on the penny indicates a 2 rather than a 7.
