Potosi was a silver mining area. And Jorgeke always has plenty of good looking food when they go detect!

Coin image 7625 is an Estado de San Luis Potosi, 1/4 real, copper, Republica Mexicana.
Though the coin is in its present shape, it still is recognizable. The coin measures 28mm.
Obverse, a seated figure of Liberty to the front is holding a war-club in her left hand and a Liberty Cap on a staff in the other. Reverse, within a wreath of laurel and oak is an open book inscribed, LEY ESTADO LIBRE DE SAN LUIS POTOSI. Below the book is the date 1862, the single year of its issuance.
Mintage only 1367; very rare, but, unfortunately value doesn't reflect its rarity.

Only 1300 minted? That’s about as low as it gets. Jorgke, may your next rare coin be gold!😊
