Got started on the wood supply later than usual.. Definitely had to work for this. Standing dead trees down a steep hill. I was worn out just going down and back up the hill using chokers, cables and a block to yard the logs up to the landing...Ready for winter now though.
While driving home yesterday morning, I saw three of these coons wading in the shallow creek alongside the road. I stopped and by the time I got out, two of them had already ran over the bank out of sight..This one allowed me one shot and followed the others..One picture is a big crop of the other.

Well, old people acquire things over the years. I sold my water hunting detector years ago. (The wood is Red Fir. )
