First 2012 dimes I've seen

And the box was loaded with em. 2012p dimes, I'd say 90% in the box were. Still managed to pull a 84s clad proof and a copper colored 02d, either missing clad layer or was run after a run of pennies and got coated with copper.
Thank goodness the second box looks like the kinda mix I'm used to. Get to them tomorrow.

Missing clad layer coins are worth up to $500. Could it have also been from MD?

After looking at coin in sunlight and a magnifyer, it appears to be coated with copper dust or dye, clad layer showing on his cheek and chin. Thought I had one once before but after close inspection saw someones fingerprint on the coin. I guess somebody trying to make an error.

i've gotten quite a few solid 2012 dime rolls this year. nothing new here :P

I got nearly a whole box of them this evening. Probably less than one roll worth of non-2012. So much for my first attempt to search dimes. thankfully I have $6k in halves due in tomorrow.

worst time of the year to coin roll hunt, the dilution of good coins is terrible. I've already seen a slowdown since christmas, this will just add to it. thankfully it's warming up for metal detecting!
