Got out for the first time this year and found these two great bottles from around 1900 . I had to dip water out of the river in order to get the ground "melted" enough to pry the brown one out. Cant wait till it warms up a little 'cause I know there are at least three more waiting to be recovered from the frozen ground !!

Thanks for looking,

Can I see a pic of top (close up) an bottom (closeup) also this had a brass lid did you find that yet? if this is the jar I think it is ..it is worth a good bit of money, but only with the orginal lid with it...

Hey Ivy, nice couple of finds right there. Especially from the river. Too bad that snow returned..This winter has been awful! Looks like a utilitarian bottle(amber one of course). The mason is very nice. The lids are hard to come by, at least finding then with the bottle. Goodluck when the weather breaks on the ole St. Joe!! jgas
