Keep at it, you're hooked into CRH, it's all you want it to be. Just takes Time, Patience, & Persistance. Welcome to TN & CRH. We will help where we can. GOOD LUCK on your NEW HOBBY.

You seem very knowledgeable about coins for this being your first time! Those are some sweet finds, good eye on the greasers. Just curious...what got you interested in coin roll hunting?

i HAVE TAUGHT MY STUDENT WELL---- Frank is is my diggin' buddy. convinced him to use his vast, unlimited, huge, and bigly endless cash supply to search coins :icon_thumright:-- at one time, many, many eons ago, he hunted halves and scored BIGLY (again with the BIGLY). now with the rent due on the island, the Gulfstream payment and his dozen or so Bentleys :laughing7::laughing7::laughing7: _________he's stuck searchin' nickels & pennies :BangHead::BangHead:------- still think my ATPro will beat him & his Minelab when we hit the farms next week :goldtrophy:

before i started i asked rich (port ewen ace) a bunch of questions
he also showed me some of the coin he found
when i could not find the error he pointed it out to me

if he would listen to me about detecting he would find more stuff in the fields
but hey that leaves more for me

I'm having difficulty seeing anything that appears to be a struck through grease on the first pics. The mark you see appears to be a die gouge.

the first pic is only there to show the year of the coin the next pic shows the error

Ok, I see it now.
